Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and MONI TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. ("Moni Technology", "we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the Moni Proxy mobile and desktop applications and the moniproxy.com website (together, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

The Service is a developer tool intended for professional and technical users. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and able to form a binding contract to use it. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.

2. License Grant

Subject to these Terms and your payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the Service on devices you own or control for the purpose of inspecting, mocking, rewriting, and replaying network traffic that you are authorized to access.

3. Acceptable Use

Moni Proxy is a powerful debugging tool. You agree to use it lawfully and ethically, and only on devices, applications, accounts, and network traffic that you own or are explicitly authorized to inspect. You specifically agree that you will not:

  • Intercept, view, modify, or replay the communications of any person, application, network, or service without proper authorization;
  • Use the Service to access data, credentials, or accounts that do not belong to you, or to circumvent security controls you are not authorized to bypass;
  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or malicious purpose, or to violate the privacy or rights of others;
  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable wiretapping, computer-fraud, data-protection, or export-control law;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, resell, redistribute, or create derivative products from the Service except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and authorization for any traffic you inspect or modify, and for complying with all laws that apply to you. You bear full responsibility for your use of the Service.

4. The Local Certificate & Device Security

To view the content of HTTPS requests, the Service installs a certificate that is generated on, and never leaves, your device. You are responsible for protecting your device with a passcode or biometric lock and for removing or untrusting the certificate when you are not using it. We are not responsible for harm resulting from a device that is left unlocked, shared, lost, or compromised.

5. Local Operation

The Service operates locally on your device. We do not host, store, route through our servers, or back up your captured traffic, sessions, rules, or scripts. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of any data you wish to keep.

6. Purchases, Subscriptions & Refunds

  • Mobile (App Store / Google Play): Moni Proxy Pro is offered as auto-renewing monthly and yearly subscriptions and as a one-time "Lifetime" non-consumable purchase, sold through Apple and Google in-app billing. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them in your Apple or Google account settings.
  • Desktop license: Desktop licenses are perpetual license keys sold directly through our website checkout. A single desktop license also unlocks Pro on your mobile devices, as described on our Pricing page. License keys are for your personal use across your own devices and may not be shared or resold.
  • Mobile-to-desktop: A mobile subscription or mobile Lifetime purchase unlocks Pro on mobile only and does not unlock the desktop apps, because store receipts cannot be verified outside their own platforms.
  • Refunds: Mobile purchase refunds are handled solely by Apple or Google under their policies. Desktop license purchases include a 14-day money-back guarantee; contact [email protected].
  • Price changes: We may change prices for new purchases and, for subscriptions, on a going-forward basis with notice as required by the applicable app store and law.

7. Free Tier

We offer a permanent free tier with certain usage limits (for example, on the number of active rules, history retention, and paired devices). We may adjust the boundaries of the free tier over time, but we will not retroactively revoke Pro features you have already purchased on a lifetime basis for the current product.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Moni Technology and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the license granted above, we reserve all rights. You retain all rights to the data and content you create or capture using the Service.

9. Apple App Store — Additional Terms

For apps obtained through the Apple App Store, the following applies and supplements these Terms: (a) these Terms are between you and Moni Technology only, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content; (b) the license granted is limited to use on Apple-branded devices as permitted by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA), which applies to the extent these Terms are less restrictive; (c) Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support; (d) Apple is not responsible for any product warranties or for addressing claims relating to the app, including product-liability, legal/regulatory, or intellectual-property claims; and (e) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

10. Google Play — Additional Terms

For apps obtained through Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app.

11. Warranties & Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MONI TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD., ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moni Technology from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your inspection or modification of traffic you were not authorized to access.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, including the Acceptable Use section. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence are not affected by this clause.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last Updated" date; material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
